Dr. Neil Gailmard – Secrets of a High Grossing Practice (2 hours)
Dr. Gailmard is the owner of Gailmard Eye Center in Munster, Indiana A graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Gailmard served as a clinical professor at the college for 20 years. He is a former Benedict Professor of
Practice Management at University of Houston College of Optometry and lectures frequently at national eye care conferences. Neil received the Presidential Medal of Honor and the Alumni Achievement Award from Illinois
College of Optometry.
After receiving his MBA degree with distinction in 1998, Dr. Gailmard opened Gailmard Consulting, a practice management firm that assists other eye doctors and the optical industry. A well-known author in professional publications, Dr. Gailmard has served as an editor of Optometric Management and Review of Optometry
magazines and has published over 200 journal articles and book chapters. He is currently editor of the Management Tip of the Week e-newsletter, which has a distribution of over 14,000 eye care professionals worldwide. Dr. Gailmard has chaired the AOA's award-winning Practice Management University program. He is a Fellow of the
American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Scot Morris – Overview Of Electronic Health Records (2 hours)
Dr. Morris received his doctorate of optometry at Indiana University School of Optometry in 1996. He then completed a residency in ocular disease at Triad Eye Medical Clinic in association with NSU School of Optometry in
Tulsa, OK. Currently, he serves as the medical director of Eye Consultants of
Colorado. He is also the operating partner of Morris Education & Consulting Associates, LLC, a full-service
practice management and clinical education consulting firm.
Dr. Mark Wright – How To Implement Disney Management In Your Practice (1 hour)
Essential Systems: The Cure For Crisis Management (1 hour)
In 1980, Dr. Wright purchased a satellite office that was open two half days a week and created Professional Vision Care which became a 9 doctor, three location, full scope optometric practice. Additionally, he is the faculty coordinator for the Bennett/VSP Business Management Program at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Wright was the 2005-2006 Benedict Visiting Professor for the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Wright is the President of Pathways to Success - Optometrists, an internet based practice management consulting company for optometrists.

Dr. Bob Davis & Dr. Don Teig – The Truly Spectacular Eyewear Dispensary – No Optical Illusion!

Dr. Davis is the senior partner in multi-million dollar four doctor private practice in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
He is the Consultant to NFL Miami Dolphins. Dr. Davis lectures internationally on Practice Management for
many vision care companies and is a much sought after speaker at optometric meetings. He serves on the
doctor advisory board for Essilor.
Dr. Teig is the senior partner in a multimillion dollar four doctor practice in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
He is a past Benedict Distinguished Visiting Professor in Practice Management at the University of Houston
College of Optometry and was the Senior Consultant to The Vistakon “Sweet Sixteen” Performance Team for the Beijing Olympics. He has been the vision consultant to the New York Yankees for 16 years.
Dr. Teig is the founder and president of Ultimate Events, LLC, the parent company for The Ultimate
Practice Management Conference
Dr. Rachel Hawran – Making It Happen! – New Doctor; Established Doctor – A Roadmap To Practice Growth. (2 hours)
Dr. Hawran is the newest member of Ridgefield Family Eye Care in Ridgefield, CT. She is originally from Rockland County, New York. She attended the University of Buffalo, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology. Dr. Hawran earned her Doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, with a strong interest in pathology. While attending the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Dr. Hawran was the trustee for the American Optometric Student Association. She has conducted sports vision performance testing with the New England Collegiate Baseball League roster of players.
